I am living in Houston. This is forth largest city in U.S. When landing to Bush Intercontinental Airport at night it comes experience of awe seeing an unmeasurable sea of blinking lights. Houston was named after Sam Houston who as legend says saled to the place in nineteenth century. There are many cafes here that build up to resemble Houston's ship. The capital of Texas is Austin, it is smaller then Houston and like in Washington the highest point of Austin is a Capitol. Austin sometimes called "Texas Silicon Valley". It hosts world number one PC manufacturer, Dell Computers, famous "Blue Giant" - IBM, Texas Instruments, Motorola and others. I like Austin lakes, rivers and hills. Here is the picture taken in Austin.

I like travel and camera is the second thing that I am taking with me after pocket computer going for a long trip. I think a person not only should, but also have to pursue his dreams. Unlike many many random or occasional things dreams are rooted in childhood when vision of the world is more intuitive and even deep. One of many things that I imagined was to drive a car accross United States and see whatever I would see. Just before the of new 2000 year I drove from Houston to New York. It is about 2,000 miles and it takes tree days of relaxed driving. The place that impressed me more then others was not New York, but Washington.

I am a programmer for a large and respectable American Wall Street corporation. Vice-president of the corporation is saying that we are doing software that even Microsoft does not have. Imagine thousands and thounsands online traders that invest by clicking a mouse thousands and even hundreds of thousands of dollars in a stock market scattered alll over the U.S. Every one of them can see instanteniously what other doing regardless a location. Our software provides it. The corporation has about 10% of all Wall Street NASDAQ activity.

Houston is real hell in the summer. Temperatures can go up 110 F and more. Looking for a new apartment I needed a big swimming pool. It is quite different from Moscow where I was born and liked there a sauna to be saved from winter temperatures.

I think my next challenge is to publish a book in U.S. and become U.S. writer. Don't have time to read though. When I'd like to read I am taking author with a good sence of humor. I am interested in American law curiousities also.
