1. What are the benefits of subst command?:

   subst command lets save typing efforts when working with long paths to files and directories if they are used frequently. It works for current windows session only. Since system does not keep a log of the subst commands, the command need to be issued again upon machine reboot if necessary.
   
   subst :\<virtualdriveletter> <path>\<filename>
